Volunteers are essential to our mission:
"To create a community-driven resource center for those who have experienced catastrophic losses in local disasters, providing support through the unification of community resources and community connections."
Volunteers are needed in a number of different capacities, with many different skill sets and availability.
If you have a bit of time to spare and would like to contribute to your community in this way, please click below to sign up!
You can offer support in the form of material or monetary donations. We accept donations of new and gently used goods. We are not able to accept your 'stuff'. While we understand everyone wants to help, if it is worn out, dirty, broken or damaged, please don't bring it. See a list of current needs.
Material donations that meet our criteria and the needs of the community will be distributed to those who have suffered catastrophic and/or uninsured losses from the floods. If you would like to donate and you are in Lyons, please bring your donations to our store in the Shopette, next to the Laundromat. Hours can be found on the 'Get Help' page. If you are in Boulder, the Resource Exchange has relocated and will be accepting donations by appointment only. Please donate by clicking the button below and completing the Intake Form. We will let you know if we can use your donation.
Want to make a donation, but live out-of-state or don't have anything that fits the bill? Gift cards are always helpful to fill the gaps between needs and donations.
We have established a 'furniture bank' listing service, where people with good quality furniture to pass on can list their items for those with a need to consider. To list an item on the furniture bank, please click below. We will contact you when we have a need to match your item(s).
